Burland Energy SA (BESA) started the activities in July, 2015 and the company was registered as a limited company in August, 2015 with its headquarters based in Gland, Switzerland.
BESA project started with a group of people identifying a real market need for delivering mission critical power on pay-per-use basis as most multinational companies are looking to finance non-core activities in a flexible and cost effective manner.
Selling the output of the assets, instead of assets themselves, will transfer customers from being passive owners to efficient users, whilst transferring budgets from CAPEX to OPEX.
Since its foundation, BESA has been working to create a pay-per-use platform allowing manufacturers to offer their customers a pay-per-use experience of their products. As the owner of the platform BESA will manage and monitor the equipment(s) and invoice for the usage.
As of today there are three products built on the platform: Power conditioning, heat extraction and power distribution. We aim to expand the current offering to “building automation” and “enterprise communication” verticals
